Overview: When Passion Pit hit the scene a few years back, I was surprised that was actually the lead singer's voice on Sleepyhead... and a whole album of that... I don't know if I could handle it. In comes Gossamer, their second album, is actually quite good. It reminds me of festival music, driving out to Coachella. Some of this album, like their debut album, Manners, has very kid-like, dreamy Indie Pop ethereal-ness. Gossamer is an unexpected good listen. BTW their album cover matches the feeling of their music (just thought I'd put that out there).
