With the newest trailer from the David Fincher directed film debuting online last week, the buzz is quickly surrounding this film. Especially as people start looking towards the Academy Awards' season ahead.
Well, I am asking this question because after seeing the trailer I felt a little weird. On the one hand, it's directed by the directed by the guy who did Se7en, Fight Club, Zodiac, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, so it will probably be good... but on the other hand, the trailer comes off very dark and very dramatic... much more dramatic than I would think a movie about Facebook would be. Anyone else have that feeling? Or maybe it's just the way they are marketing this film.
Since there are about 500 million of you on Facebook, are you excited to see this movie in theaters, or will you just wait till it's out on DVD, Bluray, etc?
I just learned that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg will not watch the film when it comes out... no surprise there.
I guess we'll all have to wait and find out if the rest of you will see The Social Network, which stars Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Timberlake, hits theaters on October 1st, 2010.
