Mixmag's latest offering, presents a mix CD from the acclaimed Soulwax moniker 2 Many DJs. Now, you're probably thinking that 2 Many DJs usually puts out a lot of bootleg mixes mashed together with songs from all over the place. And how the hell are they going to get the licensing for Mixmag? Well, not to let you down, but this mix doesn't contain mash ups and bootlegs; all license-able material here. This mix very much encompasses the sound of the band Soulwax, if Soulwax itself were to make a mix, instead of their outfit, 2 Many DJs. Confused, yet? Well, all of 2 Many DJs is Soulwax, but not all of Soulwax is 2 Many DJs. Anyways if I've made you more confused then you could just Google their name. Now that I think of it, this is a Soulwax mix CD, not a 2 Many DJs. Phew...Back to the mix... If you like the beats that Soulwax produces, then you'll like this hard, techy, electro stylings with a dash of indie rock. It is quite a good listen.
