Movie Review: Gran Torino

Clint Eastwood's latest serving tells the story of a grumpy, old, war veteran, who is resistant to change, even when the world around him is changing, including his neighborhood. Gran Torino is a movie about different cultures that clash and the acceptance of this new change.
Gran Torino might not win any Oscars, but it is still a worthy film to see. The context is great, and Clint Eastwood is back as the tough "make my day" character that made him a star back in the day. As for the other characters, they are great. But it is the emotional bond that develops between them that makes this film good. There are slow parts, and there are parts where it could probably be better. However, this film still delivers.
