Gone Baby Gone is a rather intriguing movie about a little girl that has gone missing. Casey Affleck turns in a solid performance as the private eye hired to find the missing girl. Interestingly enough, Gone Baby Gone is directed by Affleck's brother, Ben. It is his first time in the directing chair, and he does a good job. Amy Adams who plays the mother of the missing girl, turns in a well deserved Oscar-nominated performance as well. My only nick against this film, is that it feels like a longer episode of one of the many crime shows on TV. Albeit a really good episode, that can only play on cable because of the language.
