Album Review: Cut Copy - In Ghost Colours

Cut Copy's newest release, In Ghost Colours, has been in major rotation in my car over the last couple of months. It's one of those albums that I thought was going to be just "ok" before listening to it, but it managed to be very impressive afterwards. Their music blends nice melodic 80'style synths to the beats of house music, all wrapped together by catchy vocals. It's not house, it's not necessarily electro house either. Cut Copy manages to sound like an indie-dance-rock band. They incorporate some of that French sound, but actually hail from Australia. This album is definitely in contention for my favorite of the year.
